The speed limiter regime aims to improve road safety and driving behaviour. It complements other measures intended to reduce fatalities and injuries among all road users.
Under Singapore’s laws, it is mandatory for speed limiters to be installed in the following categories of vehicles:
- every goods vehicle having a MLW exceeding 12,000kg and which has, or if a speed limiter is not fitted to it would have, a maximum speed exceeding 60km/h; and
- every public service vehicle having a MLW exceeding 10,000kg and which has, or if a speed limiter is not fitted to it would have, a maximum speed exceeding 60km/h.
Currently, lorries with a MLW between 3,501kg and 12,000kg (inclusive) are not required by law to have any speed management devices, or speed limiters. The law to have speed limiters will be expanded to all lorries in this weight category progressively over 1 January 2026 to 1 July 2027.

YES. It is mandatory in Kenya to read speed per Pulse. Our speed limiter supports speed detection by either GPS or Pulse. For vehicles that does not have pulse siganl, user can setup device to read speed by GPS. Otherwise setup device to read speed by Pulse.

After connecting device with computer, open the SSCOM tool, send command, then run vehicle on flat road at speed of 20KM/H, so as to calibrate speed.

Our model UT04S support fuel consumpiton monitoring. Working theory: Fuel amount changes, the fuel sensor analog output voltage shall change as well. By connecting fuel sensor with the Grey wire of GPS speed limiting device, the voltage data is sent to real time web tracking software, where the data shall be managed with certain algorithm and display in Fuel amount left in tank.

A gps speed limiter is a combination of vehicle GPS tracking and vehicle speed limit technology. GPS integrated speed limiter device is designed to limit the maximum road speed of motor vehicles by control of engine power.
